Renate Riedemann has a proven track record as a session artist/musician, having recorded for artists such as Andriëtte Norman, Heinz Winckler, and Springbok Nude Girls to name but a few. She has played on several film scores, including the local Klein Karoo film alongside well-known SA producer, Helmut Meijer.
Approached by esteemed guitar legend and composer/producer, Mauritz Lotz, she performed as soloist on his new collaboration album, Kaleidoscopic. She also formed part of the live band at the 2015 Fiësta Awards under the direction of Janine Neethling and Ian von Memerty. she was also granted the honour of performing at the Cape Town Stadium as part of the string section for the international pop sensation Michael Bublé.
Renate is currently also affiliated with Red Cello Productions where she performs frequently as soloist in the eye-catching “Bubble”. She travels both nationally and internationally to perform at events.
In 2010 she was appointed as electric violinist in the award-winning instrumental pop group, Sterling EQ. Performing at high profile events such as the MTN South African Music Awards, Dubai World Travel Awards, FIFA Congress Opening Ceremony and the Gary Player Invitational to name a few, Sterling EQ also enjoyed wide media attention in various magazines, radio & television programs such as Top Billing, Expresso, ETV Sunrise, Kwêla, Sistahood and Idols.
